Grahame has a “you only live once” attitude to life, combining corporate commitments with adventure sports, motivational leadership and professional speaking engagements.
In the mid-1990’s Grahame and his friend Stephen set themselves an extremely ambitious goal that would challenge them mentally, physically, logistically and financially. With only 12 weeks’ preparation, the two would-be adventurers joined an international expedition to successfully undertake a 12,000ft freefall skydive on to the Geographic North Pole.
Approaching year 2000 Grahame put another target between his sights – to haul a 95Kg sled across the frozen continent of Antarctica from the coast to the Geographic South Pole. 68 days and 1,130kms later, he and the rest of his team joined the new millennium celebrations at the most southerly place on earth.
The parallels between the attributes needed to organise and participate in any major expedition and the skills required to be a leader in business are quite remarkable. Grahame has passion for helping people get more out of themselves and uses his own experiences as a good example of realising hidden potential.
